Health App

Rethinking health and wellness from a person's point of view.

Health insurance providers have a ton of helpful information about it's enrollees. By combining your actual health information (above and beyond simple biometrics) with wellness tracking we can provide individuals the relevant and personal information to make them actually become healthier. We aimed to break down barriers and address pain points by rethinking how people would want to use this experience. We also balanced out the usage of an individual's personal data and community aggregate data with privacy concerns and HIPAA laws.

Tracking in a meaningful way.

Tracking in a meaningful way.

By using aggregate health data from the Insurer's database, we would use "look-a-like" modeling to track your activity and biometrics against other people "like" you. Age 35? Diabetic? Prior orthopedic surgeries? You would be tracked and ranked against people with those same markers. A 45 year old with a heart condition wouldn't be compared to a 20 year old athlete

Your score is a percentage is where you rank against people just like you, instead of measuring total activity

Your score would be a mixture of activity, sleep, nutrition, hydration, biometrics from checkups, lab results and achievements of goals set by you and your doctors

Rewards you care about.

Rewards you care about.

A tiered rewards system based on your percentage and duration of maintenance

Tier 1 would reward you with items that can directly affect your health. Use your points for gym memberships, co-pays, running sneakers and apparel.

Tier 2 would require a user to break the 80th percentile, and they would be rewarded with all of the perks of Tier 1 along with health maintenance rewards like spa packages and classes

Tier 3 would require someone to maintain at least 80% for over a year. At that point we would offer rewards for an ongoing healthy lifestyle and encourage people to enjoy the healthy life they've created. Vacations, restaurant gift certificates, clothing, etc
