Captain's Quarters

Captain's Quarters was a fun Facebook game we made for Captain Morgans back in the day when Facebook allowed for games.

Our virtual Quarters game centered around March Madness, which we weren't a sponsor of. But, we took the premise of the brackets and let people set up virtual Quarters tournaments against their facebook friends. The tournament would dwindle down until there was one champion out of your group of friends.

The mechanics of the game were simple. You needed to align the dots in the crosshairs as they zoomed by to get the perfect shot. If the dot was too high, your shot would go too far, and the same premise for left and right. Each game was timed and you can play each other at your own leisure.

Every victory and bit of trash talking was shared out to Facebook to encourage more participation and generate more fans of the page.

The game was also playable on mobile, but you would snap your wrist as if you were actually playing Quarters, and your phone's accelerometer would handle the rest.
